Review By Rachael - There is nothing wrong with the dramatization, but there also isn't anything to highly recommend it. There are 1,000s of versions of the Arthurian legends out there and this is yet another perfectly reasonable one that just doesn't distinguish itself or stand out from the crowd in any way. It was more a full-cast reading more than a dramatization in that the narrator read a lot and then the other actors basically seemed to read the dialogue of their characters. If you are an Arthurian completest, by all means pick this up. If you have only a passing familiarity with the Arthurian legends and want a fuller version of the basic Lancelot / Guinevere / Arthur love triangle than is typically provided in films with a few bonus other stories from the expansive saga thrown in, you might enjoy giving this a listen. If you are anything between those two, it probably isn't worth your time. (Posted on March 24, 2013)
