Thomas of Hookton, having survived the battle of Crécy, is sent by the king on a mission to discover more about his father’s strange inheritance, which seems connected to the Holy Grail. Vagabond is the second novel of three in the adventures of Thomas of Hookton, who we first meet in Harlequin, as he struggles to find the Holy Grail. We are drawn into a 14th century exploration to find the Holy Grail, after a battle in the first book that uncovers Thomas’s secret family connections to the Grail.

Thomas is forced to return to England and gets tangled up in the deadly battle of 1347 that saw the Scottish invade. Fierce fighting ensues as Thomas comes head to head with an enemy within his own family in the shape of his cousin, Guy Vexille. Just how far will Guy and the Catholic Church in France go to get to the Grail before Thomas and who will survive the final battle as the story sets itself up for the final installment: Heretic.
This collection of audiobooks on CD is brought alive by British actor Sean Barrett, who is best known for his appearances in Z Cars and more recently as a voice actor for the BBC in Dark Towers.
