This suspense-filled 2010 espionage novel by John le Carré delves into a devious world of money laundering and is set between Russia and the UK. British novelist John le Carré worked for MI5 and MI6 in the 1950s and ‘60s, and it was during his time with the British Intelligence services that he began writing espionage stories. By the end of the 1960s, le Carré left to become a fulltime author and has won numerous awards for his books. Our Kind of Traitor follows the story of a Russian money launderer named Dima who is desperate to flee to the UK in the wake of the murder of his close friend at the hands of the new people in charge of his criminal group. Seemingly by accident, he meets a rich young couple in the Caribbean and while initially slight apprehensive of his tattoo, they are soon drawn in by his charm. But can Dima persuade the innocent young couple to help him with his illegal activities, and will they ever make it back to London alive?

This CD audiobook is read by English actor Michael Jayston as he takes us on a journey of gripping tension.
