Just close your eyes and let your imagination run wild with the characters and how they look.
I will always remember my first encounter with a turban-wearing Indian gentleman in his shop in Glasgow.
He opened his mouth to tell the price of something, and the thickest, broadest, most "wee Jimmy" accent came out!
My mind was doing back-flips, and I hope my face didn't betray my wonder and surprise.
If you have ever seen the televised version of this programme, the very excellent "Still Game", you will see where Sanjeev transferred his character from... for it was he who played the shopkeeper in that series, too.
The writing is faultless, the players many, the plots beautifully rounded off and - slightly worryingly - it all sounds quite real!
I guarantee that you will look at your local "shop" in a different light when you have listened to this programme. (Posted on 18 December 2012)
