Clare is the daughter of Tom O’Brien who runs a shop on cliff that is popular in the summertime as visitors descend on the small town and inject some life into the area. Clare is joined by the local doctor’s son David Power and we follow them as they prepare to leave Castlebay for a new life in Dublin.

However, in true Binchy style where twists are seemingly never-ending, all paths lead back to Castlebay as they learn that the grass is not as green on the other side as they had hoped!

This CD audiobook is read by Kate Binchy who ensures the book’s characters evoke as the same feelings in her listeners as they do in Maeve Binchy’s readers.
