The Weeping Angels acquire their bodily form by underhand and vicious means, trampling on the lives of innocent humans in the process.

We meet a melancholy widower named Mark, who is mourning the loss of his wife until hope springs up in a mysterious message. He is encouraged down a dangerous path of action with the possibility of seeing his wife again dangling in front of him like a carrot to a donkey.
