Written by Jonathan Morris, this next instalment in the ongoing intergalactic adventures of Dr Who sees the return of the ingenious time traveller with a perilous task ahead of him.  Many an assignment has fallen into the hands of the extravagant Time Lord and once again, he must do all he can to save the world. The eleventh Doctor proceeds through this tale with the assistance of his double sidekick team of Amy and Rory.

The title Touched By An Angel initially misleads listeners into conjuring up serene visions of angelic entities when the storyline couldn’t be further from this! Once involved in the plot, it is soon revealed that these so-called angels are in fact a sinister and murderous species. The Weeping Angels acquire their bodily form by underhand and vicious means, trampling on the lives of innocent humans in the process.

We meet a melancholy widower named Mark, who is mourning the loss of his wife until hope springs up in a mysterious message. He is encouraged down a dangerous path of action with the possibility of seeing his wife again dangling in front of him like a carrot to a donkey.

Where will this enticement take him? Will he get his wife back? Find out in this six-CD audiobook set from the BBC.
