David Troughton reads this thrilling story of a mysterious loch, a mad anatomist and an army of the undead.Edinburgh, 1759. The Nor’ Loch is being filled in. If you ask the soldiers there, they’ll tell you it’s a stinking cesspool that the city can do without. But that doesn’t explain why the workers won’t go near the place without an armed guard. That doesn’t explain why they whisper stories about the loch giving up its dead, about the minister who walked into his church twelve years after he died... It doesn’t explain why, as they work, they whisper about a man called the Doctor. And about the many hands of Alexander Munro.Featuring the Doctor and Martha as played by David Tennant and Freema Agyeman in the hit series from BBC Television, 'The Many Hands' is read by David Troughton who has appeared in four episodes of Doctor Who, most recently as Professor Hobbes in 'Midnight'.

Enigmatic playwright and author Dale Smith is known for his captivating spin-offs from the exhilarating Doctor Who sagas. Smith has been writing these engrossing sci-fi stories since he was young and his passion for science fiction adventure is evident in this wonderful tale about the ever-outrageous Time Lord.

The brilliant Doctor returns in this gripping story of dark intrigue and foreboding mystery. In Doctor Who: Too Many Hands we are transported back to 1759 Edinburgh. The story throws listeners straight into the action in true Dr Who style that sees a frenzied incident involving a stagecoach on the loose, Benjamin Franklin and an attacker who appears to have been dead for quite some time…

Initially, the Doctor's trusty sonic screwdriver comes to the rescue, but there are still a lot of questions that need to be answered. What was that dead creature and was that the first of more exhausting encounters?

A physician named Alexander Munro makes a prominent appearance in the cryptic plot with his basement full of live hands that are disturbingly unattached. Find out why in this MP3 audiobook story of the Doctor and the undead, read by David Troughton.
