Whilst walking with friends, the 19th century artist Edvard Munch experiences a terrible vision of a blood red sky with an ear-splitting, infinite scream tearing through nature. Centuries later, his painted visualisation hangs in the gallery of the barren world of dust - Duchamp 331.
It is here that the Doctor and Ace find themselves investigating an ambiguous claim regarding the painting that the Doctor’s diary has pointed them toward. Neither of them know quite what to expect, but they certainly don’t anticipate coming face to face with the Doctor’s sinister archenemy… The Master.
‘Dust Breeding’ is the first of Big Finish Productions’ ‘Doctor Who’ audio dramas to feature The Master, chillingly portrayed by Geoffrey Beavers. In keeping with the BBC television series, this unique production stars Sylvester McCoy as the seventh incarnation of the Doctor as well as Sophie Aldred as his 20th Century teenage accomplice Ace.
Written by Mike Tucker, who also stands responsible for the exceptional Dalek driven drama ‘The Genocide Machine’, this production is another fine example of a Seventh Doctor/Ace storyline.
All ‘Doctor Who’ audio titles from Big Finish Productions are available for you to enjoy and collect as audiobooks on CD, or as downloadable MP3 audiobook files.
