With her family living abroad, Judith Dunbar was to spend her teenage years at boarding school. It is not an unhappy life, but sometimes a lonely one. So when her new friend, Loveday Carey-Lewis, invites Judith home to her beautiful Cornish estate for the weekend, she is thrilled and excited. Equally glamorous are the Carey-Lewises themselves.

Judith blossoms, but those sun-drenched Cornish days in the ’30s are numbered. And Judith herself has far to travel before at last... coming home.

The story has been divided into two parts. This is Volume 2 of 2.

Review By Katie - After listening to Volume one of Coming Home, it's definitely worth continuing and listening to volume two. Volume two is involved with the second world war and the dream like world of the family Judith has stayed with, is interrupted by this and changed forever. Rosamunde Pilcher takes the reader on a journey filled with down to earth, yet inspiring, descriptions; emotional up's and down's and sometimes when Judith has cried, so have I! This is the happy conclusion of an epic story and Coming Home is one to listen to over and over. (Posted on 31 July 2012)
