Review By Frederik - This is another great audio adventure with the doctor. The narrative has a very tight paceing and there is rarely time to breathe. Will Thorp does a pretty good impression of the doctor. Some audio books suffer from lack of soundeffects, but not this one. Thorp really makes you you feel as if you´re right in the middle of the action. Since I have not read the book, I can´t say how much has been cut during the abridgment process...but at least there doesn´t seem to be anything important missing. (Posted on 18 February 2013)

The courageous Doctor is back in Paul Magrs thrilling novel, Sick Building. When a huge and unforgiving alien sets out to gobble up the abode of Professor Tiermann, the time traveling Doctor must do all he can to save the professor before it's too late. This tale is set in Tiermann's World, a landscape fully frozen and inhabited by sabre-toothed tigers amongst other fearsome creatures.

Professor Tiermann lives with his family in a dome-shaped building aptly named a Dreamhome. This futuristic house is fully equipped with state of the art computers, personalised robots to serve the family and - most importantly - a force shield to be reckoned with. The outer shield is no match for the Voracious Claw though, and the loathsome creature is hungry and on its way… As the gripping story progresses, the ravenous alien is not the only danger the family face. The force shield is starting to crack and, with a mind of its own, the entire building is starting to turn against its owners

Will Throp narrates this CD audiobook as listeners hang on in suspense while the enigmatic Doctor races to rescue the professor in time. Everything is falling apart and time is running out. Can the great Time Lord save the family and himself?
