Firstly, the packaging is wonderful - nothing too fancy, but eye-catching and appealing nontheless. Elements of the artwork don't give anything away, and in fact raise more questions than they answer; the TARDIS, a winter scene, and evil-looking baby doll, ballet slippers, and the silhouette of Tom. As I said, they don't give anything away, and the bright yellow certainly catches your attention.
Now, onto the stories. I don't want to give too much away, so I'll keep it brief. They're brilliant. Tom's voice hasn't changed since his 'Logopolis' days, so really adds to the continuity. Unfortunately, Yates's has, but this also adds to the mystery surrounding the non-linear life of a Time Lord! A sad fact of life, but still, I'm glad to see both of these characters back together; they play off each other really well, and represent one of my favourite periods in DW history!
Overall, the stories are all AT LEAST a 9.5/10. Well-priced, excellent voice-work, and I'll definitely be purchasing the other serials in the range! (Posted on 3 December 2012)
