Genre Children’s fiction lasting just under an hour
This children’s adventure would be suitable for about aged 11 – 13 years. It was well read by John Telfer keeping the drama and tension going without making it too scary for the younger listener. This is a ghost tale which ignites the child’s imagination, which is thrilling with sinister undertones. The story line is based around a beach summer holiday for a family, with most of the action taking place in and around the beach hut, which I feel is a good basis for children’s fiction as they can relate to this scenario and environment. I would give it 4/5 stars. (Posted on 22 January 2013)
