Author John le Carré was part of the British MI5 and MI6 for many years back in the 1950s and ‘60s, and after writing a bestselling novel (The Spy Who Came in from the Cold) in 1963, he left to become an author. A film based on The Russia House starring Sean Connery alongside Michelle Pfeiffer was released in 1990, and this CD audiobook stars Doctor’s Who Tom Baker as the lead role in this gripping thriller.
