Customer Reviews

In another collection of Arthur Conan Doyle short stores, we meet Sherlock Holmes and Watson once again as they strive to bring more murderers to justice. Made especially for BBC Radio 4, these tales are filled with the perfect amount of mystery and tension that will keep listeners gripped through all four stories.

This audiobook collection starts off with The Three Students as Holmes attempts to untangle a web of lies and deceit to find which student cheated in the highly acclaimed Fortescue scholarship test. We then move onto story number two The Golden Pince-Nez as Holmes works hard to piece together the evidence to unmask the shocking murderer of a secretary.

The Missing Three-Quarter focuses on a real-life bitter rivalry as Oxford meet Cambridge for a tense rugby match. However, this game soon turns sour when one of the stars of the team vanishes. Will Holmes find him dead or alive? The last book in this collection is The Abbey Grange in which we find out who murdered Sir Eustace Brackenstall. Is it a coincidence that he happens to be one of the richest men in Kent and can a bottle of plonk help Holmes uncover the killer? These audiobooks on CD and MP3 make the perfect addition to any Sherlock Holmes collection.
