Customer Reviews

Mystery surrounds this story that sees a man witness the murder of a young woman in a mirror. But as the man turns around to rescue her, she and her attacker are nowhere to be seen. Agatha Christie takes us on a thrilling journey shrouded in mystery as the man attempts to stop his premonition from coming true. We discover the extreme dark side of jealousy in this disturbing tale of loyalty and love.

In a Glass Darkly is famous for being Christie’s only long novel (as opposed to a short story) to not play host to one of her famous detectives. Christie is well known for her unusual crime solving characters including the ever-quirky Hercule Poirot with his black moustache that curls upwards at both ends and elderly super sleuth Miss Marple with her classic English charisma. Christie successfully takes us through this dark story with the high level of suspense and enthusiasm as we have come to expect from the world’s most successful writer.

This audiobook is one of only a few novels that invokes a supernatural element and it becomes more chilling and gripping with each chapter. Buy this CD audiobook (also available as an MP3 audiobook download) and get drawn into a different yet equally enthralling side to Agatha Christie. A spookily excellent addition to any Agatha Christie audiobook collection.
